TikTok Live Studio app allegedly copied OBS, using its software and violating its license terms

TikTok is now facing an issue with its latest version, the Live Studio app, where detectives have discovered that the company has violated the use of its service under the terms of its OBS license. Users claim that TikTok copied code and software created by OBS instead of using it under its open source and free availability to everyone.

Overwhelming evidence has come to the attention of the public. He attacked TikTok and its new Live Studio application which allegedly copied software from a company called OBS. Live Studio is known for its broadcast and feeds that help its content creators showcase their art more and earn more.

No official statement has come from TikTok or OBS regarding this matter, but those who discovered the incident say popular social media violated the licensing provisions for its use. OBS is known for its availability on many platforms for live streaming, but it requires more license for tweaks and other purposes.

Internet sleuths caught TikTok

According to a Twitter post from Naaackers, the popular social media platform’s new TikTok Live Studio app copied OBS. This famous software publisher offers its program in open source. Another Internet sleuth named HunterAP23 first discovered the code in the company’s new Live Studio application.

Latest TikTok Features

TikTok is known for its many publicly available features, focusing on popular content that appears to be viral and is viewed a lot by platform users. It is known that TikTok changes its algorithm to protect its users from harmful content that arrives on their For You page for a healthier use of the famous application.

Currently, TikTok includes the latest features of its apps, as many users are already on the platform and expect features previously found in other apps. GIFs are coming to Chinese social media, and GIPHY, a Meta company, would fill it. On the other hand, the famous green screen feature can also use GIFs.

The social media platform is known to thrive during the pandemic, and it is one of the few that has reached its full potential as a source of entertainment and topical events. The Live Studio app is a shame if those who claim what happened are true.

TikTok needs to resolve this issue for clarity and public awareness before a lawsuit emerges.
