Fine Line Gets New Studio Equipment Thanks to the Community Foundation of Fox Valley

The Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles recently received a grant from the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley.

Their generosity made it possible to purchase five new Whisper wheels and a new oval kiln for the Griffith Pottery Studio.

The Fine Line has been a hub for the local adult ceramics community for many years, offering year-round classes for all skill levels.

The new equipment was put into use immediately in the workshop, where the potter’s wheels are in action six days a week.

The oval kiln increased the capacity of the workshop kiln, allowing Fine Line students to produce even more beautiful ceramic pieces.

Executive Director Lynn Caldwell says she is very grateful for the continued support of the Fox River Valley Community Foundation.

This grant will help Fine Line, a 501(c)3 organization, continue its mission of supporting artists and the wider community through the teaching, exploration, and exhibition of traditional arts and crafts and innovative.

The Fine Line Creative Arts Center is located at 37W570 Bolcum Road, just west of Randall Road in St. Charles.
