Snapchat, this year Snapchat Partner Summit, introduced the Story Studio app for creators. The application is intended to edit videos which will be specifically for the photo sharing platform. The History studio app will help people edit videos for vertical format which is very popular at the moment. This will prove useful for its Spotlight section, which allows people to post short videos and acts as a rival for TIC Tac and many short video apps available.

Snapchat’s Story Studio app will be available for free to iOS users later this year.

The app will allow users to add various modifications like cuts, sounds, stickers and filters to videos. Users will also be able to view trends via Snapchat insights and review the different Snapchat lenses.

With the help of the application, creators will be able to share the edited videos either directly on Snapchat by pressing the built-in button or other social media apps.

from Snapchat History studio The app will be available for free to iOS users later this year. However, there is no word on its availability for Android users.

On top of that, Snapchat announced new features for its Spotlight section. Users can now easily upload edited videos through advanced editing apps and the ability to watch / publish content via the web.

Additionally, Lens Studio has been updated with new tools.
